Parallax AF Show, London, 1st to 3rd of July!


The red chair picture, " Being There", has been on the brochure cover of the Salisbury Playhouse for the all of the season.
The picture is now going to be exhibited as part of the
Parallax AF show
Friday 1st to Sunday 3rd.
This is your chance to see the work as it is presented as well as a new piece called " Duende2" and the work of many artists.

A Thousand Sheep; Get Involved!



Opportunities for you to get involved:
Wenesday 1st June; Hands-on day - 10am to 3.00pm (at the Sheep- Shed)
Fleece washing - Come with the family and bring a picnic. Find out more about the project and help making fires, washing and drying the wool and view experiments on colours. All children must be acompanied by a responsible adult.

Thursday 2nd June 2.00to 5.00pm; Children workshop - Come and wash fleeces, dye with natural plants, experiment and shape sculptures - age 8 to 13 years - cost £15 -(dress for mess)

Saturday 9th of July ; Adult and youth workshop - 10.00 to 4.00- Strecth your skills and learn the ancient process of natural plant dyeing, from madder to indigo and woad- cost £55 including materials- (student discounts available)

A Thousand Sheep has now officially started as I have been awarded a Grant for the Arts from Arts Council England for the project.

I will be based at the River Bourne Community Farm, Laverstock, Salisbury for a period of one year during which I will create an installation. The piece will use raw materials from the farm and will invite volunteers and groups to become part of the process.
